Since then, I’ve come to look at a deck of cards less with a sense of nostalgia, and more as a static, predetermined series of events. Stoner Fluxx was placed back in print under the Full Baked Ideas imprint of Looney Labs on November 13, 2009 after being out of print for four years. Looney Labs now has in the works a new game using the same core system as Fluxx, but featuring all new Keepers and Goals: Stoner Fluxx. Players take turns, drawing and playing however many cards are required by the current rules, until someone has the Keepers in front of them that match the current Goal card. The cards were also printed only in black and white, and do not have any sort of "stripe" along the left side of the card as all other versions do, other than the word indicating the card type in the upper left-hand corner.

Time is Money, and a card back, with multiple yellow arrows pointing to the different cards with nearby text saying what they are.As the Basic Rules state, on a turn, each player draws one card from the deck and then plays a card from their hand. It is the base version for the app, with the ability to add both the Creeper Pack and Zombie Fluxx to the app.

Each card displays: a card type across the top; a colored sidebar that matches that type, featuring a card title; a standard explanation of how to use this type of card; and additional explanation of the specific card. Most often, they ask to play it again right away, eager to see the cards that they didn’t get a chance to play in the first game. However, the text line was removed, and the colorized Looney Labs logo was added below the list, and the panel flipped upside-down.And when I became fourth chair in one game I made a move then realized five minutes later no one else was there. Making choices about where to move our pawns and how to bump others around makes the game less random. The top changed only in that the Fluxx ® logo was colorized, and the Cookies and Milk Keeper art was inverted to show up on the black background. Some of the strategy is even a bit devious, such as playing a "Play 3" card to force an opponent to play cards he doesn't want that you think will be to your benefit.
