Which is why you shouldn’t read too many review first because what the hell do we know about YOUR taste. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. When you can read a manga without reading it at all, you realize there is a thin, thin, THIN line between a masterpiece and an utter piece of shit.The audience ends up with another partly good-partly bad work to add to their “WTF” media list and that is Dokumushi’s entire legacy. While the concept of "just survive with everyone" is a bit limited, the characters manage to remain calm until conflicts arise and they begin to turn on each other.

One of the “contestants” is conveniently aware of what is happening and informs the rest about a practice named Dokumushi.The only part of the story that caught me off guard was the plot twist at the end, which was actually pretty clever As it turns out the timer was completely pointless. A group of very different people wake up together in the sealed environment of an abandoned school building. If you like splatter horror then you're in for a treat, but that doesn't really mean it's good and I think there are better horror manga out there. This manga is definitely not for the faint of heart, if you can't stomach gore and taboo subjects (and I mean severely taboo) then I don't recommend you read it.
