So, lately I've been attempting to find some sustainable alternatives to the typical things we use on a daily basis. The Tech (standard) head offers a mild shave, whilst the Open Comb (Deluxe) head offers a slightly aggressive shave. If it was that easy and cheap, then would all the other shaving companies not be jumping on the bandwagon too?

The handle is in the typical “Bulldog” style and is laser etched on the end with the Ikon logo – a nice touch. not to say that you can't still obtain the odd one or ten odd razors which may take your fancy as the years go by !

After preparing a hearty breakfast for me and my lady, I jumped in the shower and began my normal prep routine; a nice hot brush soak, a refreshing cleansing with MRGLO, and artfully building a nice warm lather with Proraso sensitive. Each head features 5 tempered steel blades, a lubricating strip with aloe, and a precision trimmer and pivoting design.

Aside from the razor itself, you will also have access to an in-depth and comprehensive digital manual. This photograph (above) compares the 67 Tech (left) with the Ikon (right) and there are striking similarities, though I like to think of the Ikon design as being more robust and hopefully long lived – that said as you can see from the photo there is some slight rust staining on the head. You should also note that the picture images show only our serving suggestions of how to prepare your food - all table accessories and additional items and/or ingredients pictured with the product you are purchasing are not included.Has the advantage of a 6th trimming blade on the edge but after trying for a few days I find shaving less comfortable and less thorough. Now from a business perspective, using the same or very similar razor heads to the ones being produced for the other shaving companies (using probably the same machines) could be a very lucrative operation, with the massive upside of snapping up a whole bunch of new clientele from a different demographic (ones that are actively trying to live more sustainably).
