The songs being familiar helped in reading and understanding the music like Quarter Notes, rests, etc. Alfred's Basic Adult All-in-One Course is designed for use with a piano instructor for the beginning student looking for a truly complete piano course.

The course starts with playing with 5 music notes on each stationary hand, then gradually introduces new notes.
