About this deal

Whether you're celebrating with a street party for King Charles's coronation, a garden get together or afternoon tea in your sitting room, make sure the decorations are fitting with our stunning yet simple coronation bunting. King Charles III's Coronation will take place on Saturday 6th May 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London. During the ceremony, the King will be crowned alongside Camilla, the Queen Consort. Fill your cellophane bags with any kind of treats you like – gold coins or red, white, and blue sweets would all work well for the King’s Coronation! We used a hot glue gun to secure the fabric to the ribbon, but you could use fabric glue, fusible hemming or stitch.

If you are using glue, you may want to add a paper clip to hold everything in place until the glue dries. Using a printer, simply print as many of the King’s Coronation Popcorn Boxes as you need onto good quality white paper or thin white card. We love a celebration and these bunting flags are a great way to prepare and look amazing around a classroom or on a table. They are perfect for a large group such as brownies, scouts or cubs and are an ideal way to prepare for the big day. We love a good book here in the Mad House and that means we love having seasonal bookmarks for them too. These bookmarks are perfect for kids of all ages and rather than being scary they are spookily cute and even the spiders! What I love about paper bookmarks is they are inexpensive and that means you can give everyone their own bookmarks. This lovely King Charles III coronation bunting is the perfect addition to your Coronation party celebrations either at home or in school! There are 3 different wordings on these invitations, which after the words “Please join us to celebrate the Coronation of” says: As a nation, we mourned and remembered her long, 70-year reign, which we had celebrated just a few months before with the Platinum Jubilee. Using a printer, simply print as many of the King’s Coronation Bunting Flags as you need onto good-quality white paper. Rather than rectangular pennants we have rounded off the bottom to make them unique and to help with children’s scissor skils. You can use a single-hole punch at the top to make holes for threading. If you want these for outdoor use, then please laminate them.

One way to get involved is to have a Coronation Big Lunch or street party at which neighbours and communities are invited to share food and fun together, these will take place across the country, on Sunday 7thMay 2023.
