About this deal

Chlorhexidine is usually a safe medicine if you follow the instructions that come with it. However, do not use more than the recommended dose. Some people get peeling skin inside their mouth when using chlorhexidine. If this happens to you, stop using the medicine and the side effect will usually clear up. Speak to your dentist or doctor, who may be able to recommend a different medicine.

Adults and children over 12 years of age should use the spray twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Up to twelve sprays should be applied to the surfaces of the teeth and gums, or to ulcers or other sore areas in the mouth. Chlorhexidine is incompatible with certain ingredients of conventional toothpastes. For this reason, after using toothpaste to brush your teeth, you should rinse your mouth with water and wait five minutes before you use this mouthwash. Or use the mouthwash at a different time of day to when you brush your teeth. Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways. The following are some of the side effects that are known to be associated with Corsodyl spray.
