To Tie A Running Bowline Knot - Boat Safe How To Tie A Running Bowline Knot - Boat Safe

The original knot reference book, from the 1940s. This is probably the most important book on the subject, and has more knots listed than any other book. This is a lovely book written by a lovely man who cared enough about the world to share this work, which took him at least eleven years to create.Ashley first wrote about knots in 1925 in articles in Sea Stories Magazine. Less comprehensive than his later book, he introduced the style that he would use again including icons to indicate the characteristics or shortcomings of particular knots. See Faber authors in conversation and hear readings from their work at Faber Members events, literary festivals and at book shops across the UK.
