About this deal

Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system with a temperature over 842 F. Our solar system was formed over 4.6 billion years ago. When you’re done adding your own details, colors and ideas, you will likely have a totally unique picture to someone else who colored the exact same image. All our resources are created by teachers who understand the aims of the primary curriculum. Here at Twinkl, we design practical yet fun and engaging resources specifically to support your lessons and ensure you reach your teaching objectives. And they can save you lots of time when planning too. Fun facts about space

If you would like to make this look like our solar system, you could color these to match our planets! What kind of approach do you think you will take for this incredible glimpse into outer space? We can’t wait to see how you interpret this interplanetary scene! Helen has worked as a digital marketing consultant (IDM qualified) with various organisations, including Channel Mum, Truprint, Talk to Mums, and Micro Scooters. She loves to be creative in the brand campaigns she works on. You can really get creative with a picture like this, so let your creativity flow and see what happens! Since giving up being a business analyst when juggling travel, work and kids proved too complicated, she founded KiddyCharts so she could be with her kids, and use those grey cells at the same time.

Looking for something different

These fiery elements would look great with some warm colors, and then maybe you could balance it off with some cooler colors for the other planets and objects. There is no right time to start coloring with your kids. While there are certain ages that pediatricians recommend your child knows their colors and fine motor skills to hold a crayon, the overall consensus of when a child should start coloring is really up to their parents. We’d recommend that your child is at an age where they can hold their own crayons and know that it’s a tool to use on paper, not something to eat.
