When I first sprayed it on, it took me to those early times when I first started making my own scents and didn't know what in bloody hell I was doing. I now steer clear away of vintage perfumes as I find the numerous notes that created the perfume do not sit well with me . Fresh, youthful and feminine, Petit Fracas eau de parfum from Robert Piguet has roots of an audacious air, inspired by the brand's iconic Fracas fragrance. And because scents reveal your essence, you'll receive recommendations that fit your olfactory personality like a glove. Tuberose, exuberant and seductive, nicely blends with pure, clear and intensive notes of jasmine, white narcissus, gardenia, lily of the valley and white iris, with a hint of orange blossom and violet embraced by sandalwood, vetiver and sensual musk in the base.

The base notes allegedly include vetiver, cedar, oakmoss, and sandalwood but there is no respite in the form of any of these drier scents. The first effect of the scent brings forth notes of hyacinth, mandarin, green notes, zesty bergamot, and orange blossom. Just to let you know, the smallest size vials (1 ml) would let you put on the perfume twice, depending on how much you use, or possibly 3 times. If you are someone who loves tuberose scents or is a collector of tuberose perfumes, Fracas is one you simply must try. I’ve been unknowingly hunting down the perfect tuberose fragrance and like a ding dong I’ve owned this before.White flowers are the main stars in this iconic perfume, accompanied by a creaminess and pink fruity notes. It's still pretty wearable because you do find men's frags with citrus florals and even rose-patchouli nowadays. And, in all honesty, I couldn’t even hope to sum up its key elements as well as that quote by Chandler Burr just did. I like the tuberose in the original Chloe, but more modern tuberose like Truth or Dare I found to be very sweet and fruity. Fracas is a 1948 perfume created by French perfumer Germaine Cellier for French fashion designer Robert Piguet.
