I enjoyed this book a lot more than book 1. I really liked Landry in this book, she definitely came out of her shell once she got away from the one holding her life in his hands! Kept me in Suspense needing answers to certain things! A definitely enjoyable read and the spice was nice as well. After learning of the abuse and subjugation Landry suffered at the hands of her father during the first book, I was so delighted with how she stood up for herself to the triplets. This book was emotional and intense, especially during the first few chapters during which Landry didn't know if the new evil she'd found herself face to face with would be better or worse than the devil she'd been striving to escape for so long.

I LOVE Scout. He is everything I love in a hero. Sparrow was sexy too. Sully felt weird to me...or maybe it was the use of the word "honey." The triplets were delicious together and with Landry. HOT. Landry got to the triplets' place, where she would be at the mercy of Scout, Sparrow, and Sully - three people, identical ones, that she thought before were one person, can you imagine her surprise especially with having Della with her. They are still twisted to the core, nothing has changed here, BUT we got to see their caring side, even when we think that would not be possible, slowly together with Landry we are getting to know them from a very different side. This book will show us how those four will grow up in those hard moments OMG. I swear this duet is one of the best duets by this author. I have been going crazy for these triplets ever since I read them in the Cinderella trilogy but nothing could have prepared me for the marvelous way K. Webster has written them in their books.

They each bring something different after every encounter and while she may be naive, she knows darkness, and she trusts her suspicions. Landry also has some steel cojones that makes her the perfect match for them. They are the ones with an even bigger surprise. This sequel has a much darker feel than book 1, mainly because we learn more about the abuse and trauma Landry went through to protect her sister. I felt for her and her pain. Content warnings for anyone who needs it: rape, pedophilia, pregnancy, miscarriage, abuse The book had a great storyline, it was romantic, super steamy, and I liked the fact that in this storyline the Mannford brothers were the “good” guys and Winston Constantine wasn’t. It shows how everything has two sides and that being a villain in someone else’s story doesn’t always mean a character has to be a villain in their own. Starting off with the first book, Triple Threat, we are introduced to media heiress Landry Croft. Having grown up surrounded by wealth and privilege, Landry has been groomed to be everything her dad demands her to be. Though nothing is what it seems, behind the perfect facade that’s supposed to be her life, darkness lurks filled with secrets and nightmares. Landry is a pretty doll living in a golden cage, but she has a plan to leave her life once and for all. Yet, she what wasn’t expecting for her plans to take a different turn the minute she meets, Ford Mann. He is everywhere she goes, and although she senses something off about him, Landry can’t help but to trust him fully. The attraction is there and the more time she spends with him, the more she yearns for her live to be different. It would take for her life to be at stake for her to truly find out what Ford has been keeping from her all along.

Safety: well it’s a ménage so… but yes within the confines of their relationship, it’s her and them. I don't know what it was about Landry but she felt so young to me. I liked her fierceness but she felt like a teenager rather than a grown women. I couldn't shake it. My heart was absolutely broken for Landry. She’s smart, intelligent, and fierce, yet so utterly broken. While she may appear to have everything she could ever want from the outside, all she truly desired was for her and Della to be safe from the abuse they endured at the hands of their father. I had a hard time stomaching some of the dialogue with their father and found myself thankful that despite Della still knowing what was happening, she thankfully couldn’t hear most of the cruel words said to her. I loved how protective Landry was of her and was so grateful that they had each other when all else failed.The growth of the triplets was really exciting to watch, especially with Della, Ty and Bryant. I expected what we got for Landry and even Della, but the friendship they all (L+D as well) had with Ty was so surprising and I loved it. I think I forgot how cruel Bryant really is, but he reminded me and the triplets in this one... As for this book, I still loved the triplets, particularly Scout, and the suspense. But the plot holes near the end were driving me a little crazy. Clearly no one would have believed their story because come on, bullet trajectories? I am sure at such close range they didn’t stay inside. And there was really no good reason for them to claim what they did.

Landry isn’t going anywhere.” I love that she put both halves into one omnibus, where you can just continue reading without having to pause to pull the second book out. The transition between the two books is seamless and flows like honey. I think the omnibus gives the book what it’s really needed. Sparrow, Scout and Sully are tasked with getting information for their "Uncle" and their mission is to deceive Landry into thinking they are one person and to get her family secrets. This took me a little while to get into but eventually I did and I enjoyed the story. My life is perfect. It has to be because he designed it that way. I am just one shiny part in the Croft world–glittering like spun gold for all to see. And they will. It’s why I exist. To be a trophy displayed to the world. Beautiful, polite, intelligent, poised, elegant. I am everything he demands I be. Never do I argue or resist his impossible demands.” TW: physical and mental abuse (not by Hs). family love. kidnapping. non-con. unaliving. group activities.Landry has different feelings for the guys as she gets to know them. She sees how they treat her sister as well. When Landry meets those from the boys' pasts they feel that she is being tormented, but she has to prove she wants to be with them. Also they should have been begging and grovelling at her feet for duping her but there was little drama surrounding that whole issue.
