About this deal

BLON has been around for a while as an IEM/Headphone manufacturer (circa 2014 as per their logo). However, they reached stardom with the BLON BL-03 which have earned a place in our Wall of Excellence as the de-facto budget IEM. Since the breakout success of the BL-03, BLON has tried to re-capture the lightning in the bottle but never gained the same traction. This set is light and comfortable, I have used the E3000 for hours upon hours without any discomfort. I don’t detect any driver flex either. Internals The good news is that the bass isn't overpowering nor too dominant so the rest of the frequencies and especially the delicate mid band, don't get clouded and they can sound clear enough and well separated. The simple fact that I‌ would take so much time comparing the BL-03 an earphone that costs twice the price, and say that it may be better for some people, is a testament to how good it is.

The BLON BL-03 stage dimensions are about average for a budget earphone. Wider than it is deep, sounds are spread out with good space in between. The stage position is slightly forward. Because of its width, instrument separation is above average and there is sufficient depth to enable some solid imaging as well. Comparisons Now I know there has been… high expectations for my opinion on the BL03. It certainly has not made writing this review any easier, especially when I’ve been seeing people so confidently predicting that I’d rank these in the B ranks or even up in A! Thank you for the review, greetings from Indonesia’s Audio Community. I see in this price point this is the best earphone on the market right now, just curious what do you think this blon BL-03 compare to KZ ZSN Pro or CCA 4?The BL-03 is their newest golden goose, often compared to established models like the Moondrop KXXS or the Tanchjim Oxygen despite its price. There are rumours that this was tuned by the same guy who tuned the Oxygen, but nothing has been officially confirmed. But there is main con, The cable that comes with the BLON-03 could use an upgrade. It's a bit on the flimsy side, so you might want to invest in a sturdier option. bump are there so expect stage and if not – change tips, everything else in FR is smooth. FR having no harsh spike/dip means no sawtooth mid/treble. Some may find the 1-2k bump to be unsettling and piercing, Harman fatigue or shouty sopranos in general, good for male vocals or soft voice. Final Audio has also entered the TWS game recently with the ZE3000 and have an exclusive accessories line-up. Technical Specifications

Nonetheless with certain kinds of music like the Spitfire the experience is immaculate and you are going to feel like sitting next to the subwoofers. The Tanchjim Tanya are a warm harman-like set and are also bullet shaped with a non-detachable cable. Both sets scale better with amping, but the Tanya are easier to drive.Overall, the BL-07 has that clear and natural sounding mids. Voices and instruments are reproduced with a good sense of space. One of the better tuning of the mids I heard from BLON.
