Throughout the book there are a number of scenes with Samantha and Heathcliff, the couple from the second book in the series. I really enjoy Grace’s friendship with Samantha and how supportive Samantha was of Grace. Plus I really like Samantha and Heathcliff as a couple so it was fantastic seeing them again. The couple from the first book, Liliah and Lucas, appear towards the end of the book and I enjoyed seeing them again as well. Surprising he and Grace seem to be drawn to each other. Unfortunately Grace is being pursued by a man who is Ramsey's enemy and he is determined to put a stop to it. The Temptation of Gracie's Flappy now takes centre stage in her very own novel, more charismatic and competitive than ever! Don't miss Flappy Entertains – out now** I was glad to that a certain storyline regarding Gracie's uncle was included, it didn't feel patronising or unrealistic in any sense of the word. I will say romance, forbidden love, heartbreak and playing a dangerous game all form part of Gracie's secret. I very much enjoyed all of this but would have liked even further development on the romance front. As for Gracie in the present and her ending there was a very surprising element which when revealed helped me make sense of some things I had found confusing while reading. But still I would have loved to have heard from a certain character which would have allowed for some filling in of the gaps with regard to the missing years.

This book was enjoyable but I will say it took me awhile to get into it. I felt this book was very much into the character's stories individually and not so much into the bedchamber olympics. Which is great, if that's what you're looking for. But then when I had begun to lose hope of having someone awarded a Gold Medal in the boudoir, a scene popped up. It felt......weird though. That's really all I can say. Just.....weird. Not wrong but not right either. Not in the creepy wrong way just in the IAmDeadInsideAndFeelNoEmotionsDuringThisLoveScene way.

This novel takes place in two time frames, when Gracie is young in her early twenties when she is living in Italy and also in the present day when she embarks upon a bonding holiday with her estranged family. I really enjoyed this book. It is essentially a feel-good story where the reader has a feeling from the start that all will end happily ever after, they are just not sure how. It is a light and easy read though not trivial. There is a good plot that works well and great characters many of which I recognise from life! I raced through this book as it had all the ingredients for a good read - good characters, a sound plot, a bit of history, some light amusing bits and an ending that worked well. One day, Gracie encounters an advertisement in a magazine, announcing that Castle Montefosco, in Tuscany, is currently open to the public. Strangers can come and stay for a few days and learn how to cook authentic Italian food. Although everyone knows Gracie as someone who hates leaving the comfort of her small town in England, she makes the seemingly crazy decision to travel to Italy.

This is the third in the series about three Regency lords who manage a club called Temptations and how they find their loves, this one featuring Ramsay, Marquess of Sterling, the most strait-laced of the three, and Grace, the ward of one of the other two. Although both characters were introduced in previous books, this can be read as a standalone.In this book the third owner of Temptation – Ramsey Scott, Marquess of Stirling – meets the woman he will marry. He is NOT looking for a wife and in fact believes he never will marry again. He is however a good friend and when asked by Heathcliff for assistance in the debut of his ward, Iris Grace Morgan well, Ramsey is definitely going to be there for his friend and business partner.

Next, there was the relationship between Gracie, her daughter (Carina), and grand-daughter (Anastasia). At the core, this is a story about three generations of women. Carina is a rather uptight businesswoman who's married to her job, leaving her little time for her mother, husband, or teenage daughter. Understandably, Anastasia has some resentment toward Carina, preferring the company of her father or cell phone instead. There is obvious tension between the women at the beginning of the novel but when Carina decides to join Gracie for the trip to Italy, and Anastasia comes along, things slowly start to change. I adored their changing relationship and character arcs in general, especially Anastasia's. I loved the way society tries to rule over people's lives. This group of people risk everything to make their lives their own. It's bold, innocent, sweet, and refreshing.
