If however you have a very coarse beard and shave every two to three days I would suggest taking a look at a more advanced shaver (like the Braun Series 5 or Series 8). Precisely, they come with a better shaving head (gentler and better with flat hairs), a larger battery and a hair trimmer. Having tested it extensively and having owned a couple of the old-generation shavers, I can say without a doubt that the new Series 5 is not in any way an upgrade. If you want the closest possible shave with an electric razor, Braun shavers are probably not the best option.
Finally, the Series 3 BT shaver is either a basic Series 3 or a Series 3 ProSkin that comes with a special bundle of accessories that allows the user to trim and maintain a beard. This type of head movement will actually be useful in practice and require less wrist work on your part for a clean and effective shave. The Braun Series 9 9390cc or 9370cc are usually the ones to get if you want a cleaning station as well. Or maybe you already own a cc Series 3 Proskin like the 3070cc or 3050cc and would like to know if you can still use your existing station with a solo Series 3 ProSkin like the 3040s.
The more advanced and more expensive Braun series have specialized cutting elements (in addition to the basic foils) for capturing and cutting more difficult facial hair.
Small holes give optimal shaving results at a 90° angle while larger holes capture more hair and cut deeper at different angles. And we also have the Panasonic Arc 3, which is again another excellent option in the entry-level range.I agree with the daily shave versus every 2-3 days; definitely much harder with this razor when not using daily.
