The young participants set out with disposable cameras to produce images exploring elements of their own lives and identity, which will be presented alongside a series of collaborative portraits in which Wiles pressed his camera's shutter release but the context and locations again came from the young participants. All participants chose which aspects of their lives to present through this work. They also selected their own final images and have added text layers to further amplify their voices. Free admission to the public,Riverside Gallery, Riverside House, Rotherham The countdown is on for Brixham’s annual Lanterns, Lights and ’Luminations event which features a lantern parade, fireworks, the Christmas lights switch-on, market stalls and entertainment throughout the day. A variety of fun events are happening in Rotherham Libraries from Bonfire Night themed craft activities to Autumn crafts. Also, there will be a display and signposting placed in the libraries for help and adviceduring Men’s Mental Health Awareness month.

Filled with picture-perfect moments, discover a new, longerwalk this year including brand new zones inspired by the magic of winter and the festive season. This year’s programme will also feature the return of The Royal National Mòd to Paisley. The holiday takes its name from a famous dispute between the local shawl weavers and manufacturers in the 19th century and is held on the first Saturday in July to mark the time of year when the weavers and their families would traditionally take their holidays. Renfrewshire has firmly established itself as a key destination on Scotland’s events map and the programme is part of a wider plan to attract visitors and drive footfall to our town centres and villages.
