His groundbreaking The Complete Prophecies Of Nostradamus was published in 2009. The third edition of Reading's bestselling Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies For The Future is due out in 2015, to tie in with a new documentary on Nostradamus by the History Channel, which is due to air in the summer of 2015, and which features an extensive interview with the author. Will cost of living emergencies, growing anger around environmental damage, and income inequality pave the way for serious civil unrest in 2023 and beyond? Given how things have been going, it wouldn't be a stretch to believe that things may get a whole lot worse. And, as with so many other things, Nostradamus seems to have seen this coming.

In 1522 he entered the University of Montpellier to complete his doctorate in medicine. He sometimes expressed dissension with the teachings of the Catholic priests, who dismissed his notions of astrology. Beyond the quatrain in question, an English translation of Les Prophiétes shows no direct reference to the death of Queen Elizabeth II, or any other queen. This book was a hoot. I would like to give it 4 stars just for the sheer entertainment value, however a more critical level is the 1 star rating it has. Marco Reading takes the prophecies of Nostradamus and uses them to foretell the future. Many of the prophecies are ambiguous and require a huge leap of faith to get what Marco Reading is taking from them. There are some universal themes: conflict between Christianity and Islam; global warming; and the Antichrist that are given much attention. So let’s take a closer look:What can I say about this book The Nostradamus - The Complete Prophecies for the Future is that it can be all very fascinating, but I myself, as I don't believe in alchemy and even less in astrology, among others, I have the flea behind my ear when these prophecies are spoken. For me, they are not really prophecies, but just theories, ideas, of what can happen in the future. Nostradamus himself may have been wrong in many of his "prophecies" just as Mario himself may have been mistaken in interpreting them. As the author often says, Nostradamus' writings have many meanings and one word, translated or misinterpreted can make a big difference. I also cannot say that we do not stop thinking that everything that is in this book is impossible to happen, quite the contrary, everything that is there is possible and most things today are moving towards making these things happen. I particularly hope that I will no longer be on Earth when our Party period with the police of the idea and ministry of love is in place. During a nomadic youth Reading sold rare books, taught riding in Cape Town, studied dressage in Vienna, played polo in India, France, Spain, and Dubai, ran a seventy horse polo stables in Gloucestershire, and helped manage his Mexican wife's coffee plantation. These words may suggest some kind of revolt against the wealthy who have traditionally been insulated from the economic turmoil affecting the rest of society. Another quatrain presents an equally dire vision of discord and violence: Looking around, I'm pretty sure the human race is doing its damnedest to assure self-destruction. It's pretty obvious any of us who just want to get along are getting obliterated by those who just want to act on their IDs and be greedy, destructive brats, but I don't really believe Nostradamus or anyone else has any special insight into the exact how and when of The End of Us.

On September 16, video creator Michael Summers shared a video on Facebook, which claimed that Nostradamus foresaw the death of the Queen. Reading continued: "Prince Charles will be crowned in her stead, and become 'King of the Islands,' the implication here being that he is no longer king of the other regions in the world over which his mother reigned—Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.—which will have, in the interim, become republics. Tech magnate turned space entrepreneur Elon Musk hasn’t been afraid of making bold predictions about when humankind might finally set foot on Mars. In March 2022, he suggested 2029 as the year in which astronauts would make this second giant leap. But might Nostradamus be pouring cold water on such bold aspirations with his cryptic line, ‘the light of Mars will go out’? There are some reports that university officials discovered his previous experience as an apothecary and found this reason to expel him from school. Evidently the school took a dim view of anyone who was involved in what was considered a “manual trade.”

That people are so willing to believe anything anyone tells them along an eschatological vein is often more interesting than the eschatology itself.
