The friendships she kept, the family bonds that grew, and the confidence she gained were lovely, and I can't wait to see how she continues to mature.

This book showed a whole new side to Johnny, and it was well worth the time it took to get to it. I loved how he was able to figure out the priorities of his life, as well as how Shannon and his life at Tommen fit into it all. He made some tough decisions, but ultimately, I was so excited for the path he chose.The story is captivating, a lot happens, and this makes you so invested that you can't stop reading it. The writing is simple and since the author is Irish, she put a glossary and the pronunciation of names you'll find within. So don't worry if you don't understand or you don't know some words, the glossary has them all, which I appreciate a lot since English — let alone Irish — is not my first language. I get emotional thinking about her and how far her character came in only 2 books. She is such a beautiful soul and matched with Johnny perfectly. I am so pleased that this book worked out the way it did for her and that she found her happiness. It was good to see that Claire gave her a bit of normality. Doing girly stuff. Talking about boys. Going shopping. I love that Claire and Shannon had each other. they're story is literally the same as Knight's and Luna's from Broken Knight but in my opinion, Claire and Gibise are way more adorable and loveable and i just know their story is gonna make me cry.
