Se stie deja ca sunt fan al acestui autor, asa ca nu e surprinzător faptul că din nou a reușit să mă cucerească. Though it was not mind-blowing and though I kind of figured out what the plot twist is half way through the book (I think most readers who "consume" a lot of this genre have this issue), the story served its purpose. It is deep midwinter, everything is monochrome, it is snowing and icy, you can almost feel the chill transmitting from the page.

The story was well layered, displaying a strongly conceived plot that unfolded in a well-developed tension-filled manner. A moving, powerful story that shines a light on those that feel invisible in our world - and shows us that we ALL belong - from the author of Ruby's Worry. As she walks about Isabel realises she is ignored by people, and feels she is literally fading away.
