Storage is ok I made some brackets to wall hang it Love this thickness planer from the build to the use it is simple to use and a pleasure to use you get great satisfaction putting an old lump of wood through it to receive a new lump the other end. I then put a level on the tables and discovered that the out-feed table was not flat and badly twisted. I assume mainly chinese made but just wondering if anyone has bought one and is pleased with the build quality.

Wouldn’t want to go much shorter than this unless I was just making small pieces of furniture, boxes, etc. The orbital sander is ideally suited for flat surfaces and thanks to the micro hoop-and loop fastening and clamping . for what it is, built in motor with lift and speed control its very good, had to change the fence, but that was all, if that planner thicknesser lives up to its specification I would put it in the bargain bracket, pay by PayPal if possible then its not hassle to send it back and get a re-fund, do let us know what you decide to do.I did speak to the guy there about there new cast iron topped table saw and it seems a lot of saw for the cash - apparently they'll be doing professional product videos once COVID restrictions ease. Today I just went to use it again, set it up for thicknessing, and nothing when I tried to start it, I have checked the power to the switch and it is present, I also pressed the reset, nothing! Rotating at 8500rpm you can achieve an extremely fine, ripple free finish on both hard and softwoods. Just don't forget to clean well as there can be some issues with small wood parts, the machine itself has some hard to reach places. I will have an old ELU DAh 176 operational soon but can't get replacement blades easily and there expensive also rollers not great so looking to keep it for older wood for the first plane then use the new one for finishing. The Lumberjack one is bigger capacity and a better fence than the Titan plus it has a leg stand (for what that's worth to some).We have seen year on year of successful growth and are fast becoming one of the leading power and Hand Tool sellers within the UK. A 6" planer capacity is going to be adequate for most jobs - for the odd wider task a lunchbox thicknesser may effectively do the job by taking a small amount off alternate side until fully planed. I have never used it as a thicknesser so I don't know what hassles there might be in switching over. On the plus side it was well packed and everything was present according to the scanty instruction booklet.
