Bear in mind though that it isn’t cocooned for a young baby so, while our tester deemed it comfortable for her three-year-old, she wouldn’t have used it with a baby under six months. There is also a storm cover and a reversible liner included with a choice of super soft and natural bamboo or sporty black mesh. I’ve owned 3 other travel strollers that were more compact, but none had a one handed fold, which I wanted for faster loading. Adele tucked the buggy into her front porch, kept it in her car boot and it even did some time in her coat cupboard when not in use.

The Micralite ProFold Graphite comes with grey melange fabrics and a vegan faux leather handlebar and bumper bar for babies to hold on to. The Micralite Profold seems to fit the bill, but they don't seem very common so I'm hoping to hear from someone who has one whether you're happy with it? OK, so we’ve chatted about all the good things about the Micralite ProFold, what about the things that aren’t so good? I also love the suspension on the wheels and haven't seen any other small strollers will similar suspension!

But have you ever tried to get on a bus or a train on your own when you need to fold down the pushchair whilst also holding your child! This is a great stroller for anyone travelling – it’s light and well equipped for all sorts of weather. I get it, it is a more budget friendly option, but personally I would have been willing to pay a bit more to get Smartfold's fabrics. The Micralite ProFold boasts 20K/20K rated weatherproof fabric which is waterproof to keep baby dry and has a UPF50 rating to ensure your little one is protected from the sun’s rays. The added suspension and lockable swivel wheels improve manoeuvrability so parents can steer it with one hand and stop with an easy, one-touch brake.Personally I think the vertical seat positioning is a huge plus point of this pram as its perfect for when your little one needs a nap on the go (great for days out, weekends away and holidays).

Suitable from birth with a full lie-flat seat, there is no compromise on usability or comfort for parent or baby. It offers good value for money and feels sturdy but it is probably still prohibitively expensive as an additional pram for a lot of people, particularly when lightweight strollers, which often get a lot of use (and abuse) can be picked up so cheaply. Young children can also help push because there is enough space for a young child to stand in between you and the pram.I wish I would have buckled all of the straps together before folding it up so that it didn't get lost. However, at around 20 months, I realised that Theo no longer needed such a cumbersome pram frame and that it was time to reclaim my car boot space! The buggy arrives fully assembled, so hey presto, straight out of the box, you are ready for your first winter adventure.
