After a few minutes of listening, and a little bit of tweaking with the bass and treble pots, I have to say that I was floored at how much more bottom end I could get out of my Q Acoustic bookshelves with the Fosi Audio, compared with the Denon.

Final Thoughts Build quality appears to be great and it is in fact surprising this unit costs so little, as it is very well put together with no flaws to report. Features & Specs It’s because of this that describing any subjective qualities of the TB10D is not an easy undertaking. This isn’t hi-fi in the true sense, though it’s not supposed to be. If there were a means to bypass the tone circuit, or a reference to adjust them to a flat response, the amp is quite capable of a relatively neutral performance. But this was never designed to be the heart of a hi-fi – it’s designed to be used on a desktop, in a workshop or in an environment where it will be adjusted subjectively to fit the environment, and where objective performance is, for the most part, wholly unimportant. The Fosi Audio TB10D is a two-channel class-D power amp. It’s the class D that makes this perform so well despite its very small size.It’s not the widest, or most airy amp I’ve heard, however using it for a second system, or to driver some smaller speakers in a desktop situation this is actually a very impressive amp. The tone controls work very well, you can finely tune the sound and add a little more body or take away a little treble if needs be for your own personal tastes.

One of the highlights of the Fosi Audio Power Amplifier is its solid construction. The build quality is impressive, and it feels sturdy and durable. Additionally, its compact size makes it easy to fit into various setups without taking up too much space. Affordable and simple Class D amplifier yet powerful in setting up an audio system. First Impressions This miniature amplifier harmonizes seamlessly with diverse systems like computers, desktops, and home theaters. This collaborative effort, alongside your passive home audio speakers, creates an impeccable HIFI arrangement, granting your ears reprieve from the clamor of the bustling city.In my testing, the TB10D never even got warm, it will easily handle a lot of speakers out there and drive them to very loud volumes which is mightily impressive for its size. I don’t feel this is going to try and replace integrated amps in main hifi systems, due to it’s price, functionality and form factor, however if you set your expectations right I really cannot see anyone not enjoying what this amp has to offer. The TB10D sounds pretty good, honestly better than its price would suggest. The power is clean, and with the tone control you can get some warmth in the mids to hide some of that Class D brightness if you already have brighter speakers. The vocals are pleasant and the bass is pretty tight. The top end does well to add some sparkle to the sound. Depending on what speakers you pair this amp with you may not miss having a subwoofer too much. With plenty of power, the Monitor 5s were certainly reaching deep. Another technique I used was putting 2 drops of distilled water between the heatsink fins. The water has excellent emissivity and will heat up until it boils into vapor, allowing me to accurately measure the temperature until it reaches above 100C or dried up. As you can see in the picture below, the heatsink was extremely hot (85C). Imagine what it would be like if it were enclosed in a sealed enclosure. I recently had the opportunity to try out the Fosi Audio Power Amplifier, and overall, I found it to be a well-constructed and compact device that offers ease of setup. Clear midrange, somewhat energetic highs out of the box, good punchy,tight, mabye a little dry, not super deep bass,wider soundstage,depth than my bt20a, good dynamics,punch in the lows playing the spirit of dun dun by steve smith, nothing like a big amp and thigh sounding speakers with 12" pa subs,bass (could be big jbl tower speakers) but stil good,musical They work well, though they’re small and cramped and difficult to adjust without accidentally nudging adjacent controls. This is par for the course – though digital controls with buttons might have been a better design. The tone controls also have no central detent, so there’s no way of knowing when you’re at the flat position unless you’re familiar with the loudspeakers and can set them by ear.This was actually a great combination. If you’ve got a small footprint to work with, then just taking a smart speaker like the Alexa Echo and running the 3.5-mill out to a stereo RCA into the Fosi Audio is easy and fun to control. Class D has made huge improvements in the last 10 years or so and Ti look to have one of the best budget chips on the market and this Fosi seems like really good implementation of that chip. A tiny stereo amplifier designed to be connected to unpowered speakers seems an odd thing, as you aren’t often called upon to produce an amp while you are out and about, except perhaps a headphone amp which the Fosi Audio TB10D TPA3255 is not. Then again, there is an attractiveness to having a portable 600W amp, or one that takes up a minuscule amount of space on a shelf. Considering the variety of products Fosi Audio sells there must be something to this. I connected the Fosi TB10D to my Polk Monitor 5s to test out. After getting everything connected I played with the tone controls and I really had to turn the treble knob all the way up. the bass knob I left around the middle and it sounded pretty good like that. I did also see how it sounded with the bass turned all the way up and it was aliitle much with the polks. Normally the Polk tweeters don’t need any extra oomph. After getting everything how I wanted, it was time to listen to some music. Sound Embracing a miniaturized yet enduringly elegant and straightforward aesthetic, complete with dedicated controls for bass, treble, and volume management. Positioned at the rear end are the banana plug terminals, engineered to seamlessly accommodate both banana plugs and stripped wires. The TB10D power amplifier provides wired input and passive speaker output.

On a physical level, I should have started by reviewing the TB10D before I reviewed the BT30D PRO, because that one really spoiled me with what Fosi Audio can do, and it feels a bit like TB10D is an underachiever in some ways. Starting with the build, it is about as large as the BT30D PRO, and it is a very small hifi stereo amplifier, but it has analogic volume and EQ wheels, and one on/off switch at the front. Bluetooth implementation is clean - IMO this is better than the A07 Pro (which was very noisy in the model I have)
