About this deal

To start off, it’s advertised as delivering “powerful AC power for anywhere,” and features 2x 1400W AC outlets. In all honestly a 300w inverter should do the job but if someone is able to clarify this and abit of information about it that would be great. To me this power station competes head on with the power stations made by solar / battery companies. Even if we set the output of buck converter as low as 11V – they will stop working when Makita batteries reach around 12-12,5V (2,4V per cell).

It would also be more enticing if the battery could stay attached/contained to the unit, and more systainers could remain on top while the inverter is in use. When the light is Red, which means it's lack of power; While the light is Green which means it's in normal work.For instance, the PDC1200 will power a 1000W load for about 56 minutes, and the PDC001 with 2x BL1860B batteries will power a 750W load for about 10 minutes.

The 2x XGT 40V Max batteries plug into this power station for charging, they are not used to power it. You should also try to, as precise as you can, set up every step down converter to the same voltage levels. That being said, hopefully the Makpac style box only has the form factor and not the durability, because makpacks can be quite flimsy. For large car batteries it’s not something terrible (my 100Ah battery has peak current over 800A) – but it could drain it real fast, and four Makita batteries in a blink of an eye.It does not look like there’s any way to power this with Makita’s XGT 40V Max cordless power tool batteries. I tried running 20 feet of 12v cable then using dc/dc inverter to 19v, failed dismally, i can however run out 40 feet of 240 cord and convert that to 19, camera and laptop are connected and limited in distance to length of usb cable, again i cant run a 40 foot usb cable. If I were to ask a question on the carp just blurbed out there and all points are not addressed, would my system work?
