The story felt a bit rushed and there were times when I couldn’t remember if the author told us something or if we were just supposed to assume. She's eager to avoid him at all costs, hoping to fit in with the other kids in Holden without drawing too much attention to herself. Imperfection and brokenness are curated into something made-by-hand and glossy and scintillating and warm and inviting enough to sit down with and talk to. While almost every individual part of the book was great, the way that it all fit together felt a little confusing sometimes.It's a problem that requires a lot of heroism, action, and suspense and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. like teenagers put up a tough front at times, but are truly just looking for someone to listen and talk to. This book encourages us to reflect on our own relationship with science and serves as an important reminder of why we should continue learning as adults. Float, with all of it's nostalgic summer camp fun, would be a perfect antidote to a dreary winter day.
