About this deal

Plaster is a building material used for the protective or decorative coating of walls and ceilings and for moulding and casting decorative elements. Next, prepare the wall or surface correctly to receive the base coat plaster in accordance to the list above. Plastic containers are nice because you can deform them afterwards to break away the hard plaster and re-use the container.

Remember that you will be adding color to white, so you will need more colorant to make darker colors.

It can absorb water from the atmosphere – that is why it will go hard after a while, and also loose its effectiveness even before it is fully hard. It is a hard white substance made by the addition of water to powdered and partly dehydrated gypsum.

The scratch should be no more than 1mm deep and all of the wall should be covered with no more than 150mm between any of the scratches. If it starts to go stiff whilst on the trowel, and you still spread it out, you are actually working with half-set plaster, so it'll only ultimately fully set to half (ish) its normal strength.
