About this deal

I am not one for always reading instructions but the cot was really simple to assemble and the instructions were precise and straightforward. If you’re looking for a suitable alternative for a crib or a cot for grandparents or regular sitters, a more traditional travel cot would be more practical. This is a great sleep option for when you are travelling and space is tight, simple, quick and light perfect for naps at home, travelling to grandparents or a well-deserved holiday. When I decided to go backpacking with our baby and realised that many hotels charge extra for a cot, I decided to look for a portable one . I think the 6 month age limit may be ambitious: I suspect we'll need to have another solution before long.

The Velcro fasteners will also be compromised if you attempt to push blankets down the ends or sides. If I didn't have the problem above I'd probably give it 5 stars for what it is - a lightweight, temporary travel bassinet. Because there’s a side opening for placing your baby inside, the Koo-di Travel Pop-Up Bubble Cot is much easier on your back than a traditional cot where you have to lean over the sides to lift your baby in and out. Life with babies and toddlers can be pretty hectic at the best of times and Koo-di’s clever products simply make things easier for busy mums and dads, once you’ve discovered Koo-di’s innovative and amazingly practical solutions, you will wonder how you ever managed to survive without them.I was weary about the black out but its actually got a good zip on the side which is dark when closed. Complete with integrated zip up black out / sun blind which blocks up to 93% of all harmful UVA and UVB rays.
