The relationships of volume, balance between full and empty, treatment of metal surfaces, warm and cool materials and the relationship between the support and the stone are explained in depth along with ways to illuminate jewellery, treatment of light and chiaroscuro play to add depth. The first volume in this two-part series provides a step-by-step guide to the fundamental aspects of the graphic representation of a wide range of jewellery pieces, from the simplest to the most complex forms. A complete, in-depth manual that explains everything one needs to know about designing an drawing jewellery .
