All in all, my experience with the GardenCo 3m Cantilever Parasol has been positive, making it one of the best cantilever parasols available in the UK.
A cover is also a great inclusion as it will ensure the longevity of your parasol, protecting it from the rain and cold weather and leaves and bird droppings when it is not in use. Look for a high gram per meter squared ratio of canopy material, such as polyester, as these will provide great weather resistance and shade. The double-tier top allowed wind and hot air to flow, increasing the parasol’s stability on windy days. Furthermore, the included PVC coated cover ensures the parasol stays protected from the elements when I’m not using it.All you need to apply is to have a debit or credit card, to be over 18 years of age, and to be a UK resident. From the time we spent with this model, I can’t see there being any issue in that department for years to come, nor with the height adjustment, which is just as well done. Most parasols on the market only allow fixed 90° rotation while this will give you 360° shade coverage.
You see, the fillable base you see in the advertising photos doesn’t come with the product and has to be bought separately, and it’s not the cheapest thing out there. Just remember, it’s only water-repellent and not fully waterproof, so be cautious in heavy rainfall.Often, aluminium is used for a lot of outdoor furniture, such as zero-gravity chairs and sun loungers, due to its ability to fight off rust, but the quality of the aluminium used can vary a lot and some of it is very lightweight, weak, and may not be the best material for a parasol if it doesn’t have a solid base to support it.
