There are deep EQ controls on both headsets to dial in the sound to the user as well as a Dolby Audio mode. The Corsair HS65 Wireless features integration with Corsair’s iCUE companion app, and while there aren’t a ton of bells and whistles, it might still be worth installing, if only for firmware updates.

And that is kind of a disappointment as most Bluetooth-powered gaming headsets these days now feature simultaneous audio playback. It could be a little more clearer and precise, but maybe the other equalizer presets might come of use (for example, the FPS Competition, which sounds horrible to my ears but others might get some mileage out of it). After jumping around some more, it was clear I was hearing my own character seemingly from behind me. The software is just okay, the headset doesn't quite fit right, and nothing really makes this headset stand out from the rest.In fact, the headset does seem to have built-in sound presets with similar functionality (triggered by pressing on the volume wheel) but they do not make any difference to the audio whatsoever.

The high-range emphasis also makes the higher elements of Grian Chatten’s voice more noticeable, like breaths and other mouth sounds. There is a clear spark in the highs that renders instruments and sound effects with energetic force, while the mid-range has enough room to breathe and spread out. A mesh grill ear cup design and an adjustable headband with aluminum-reinforced construction provide lightweight durability, while adjustable leatherette memory foam ear cups with soft fabric provide a comfortable fit through hours of gameplay. This all pairs with the headband’s adjustable metal sliders, which offer decent flexibility, and yolks that can adjust on two axes, letting the headset clamp around the ears with fairly even pressure.This is a good bit cheaper than some competing gaming headsets like the Razer Kracken V3, which is about 20% more expensive, while still offering the same audio quality. So, if you have used any of those headsets before, or even the wired version of HS65, and found them comfortable, you should have no issues with these either.
