Light and elegant on the palate, the floral notes are balanced by the sweetness of the licorice root, with a hint of vanilla that develops on the finish. Boatyard Double Gin is an award-winning, certified organic gin, produced in County Fermanagh in North West Ireland.

The ‘double’ in Boatyard Double Gin refers to the distillation process and a purist’s approach of placing juniper at both the start and end of the process.The carefully crafted balance of flavours brings harmony to this spirit - intense plum, almond and berry fruitiness from the sloes and soft sweetness from the honeysuckle accompanied by our juniper-forward Double Gin - giving you the perfect mix of dry, sweet and tart. I recently opened the bottle having read the label which outlined its origins ( from a very pretty and historical part of Fermanagh ) and with my friends sampled with an open mind ( and mouth ) and all AGREED delicious ! Then followed the six-month seasoning in a cool dark cupboard before the gentle decanting back into bottles followed by further maturation in the same dark cupboard.
