I love gourmands (Fantasy, Rocker Femme, Hidden Fantasy), but I also love green , spicy , floral, woody scents.

I have spent a fortune on perfume over COVID and now I could kick myself because I could've been wearing these beauties and saving a hell of a lot of money in the process! As the scent develops I smell the dusty, orangey powder of Dana Navy; and in the heart I swear I detect a hint of the warm, almost root-beer spices of Tabu. If this were a design related visual - this resonates with vintage damask red velveteen wallpaper or a beautiful red velvet formal evening gown --- or yes!The spices come into play almost immediately in warm weather and that fresh peach blast on apllication is now something I anticipate with pleasure. This is supposed to have the notes I like, but I mostly get this sharp chemical smell almost like rubbing alcohol. Avon's Rare Rubies is a strength that is slightly less bold than EL's Cinnabar - and slightly bolder than ET's Diamonds and Rubies. She puts on her favorite lingerie, the last puff of cinnamon scented talc, red velvet fatty lipstick. Try it on the skin after hot bath or shower and under the clothes to preserve the smell and it will blossom on you like it was intended to.

It seems to have a little of everything: a ripe peach at the beginning, going into powders and spices and jasmine and lions and tigers and bears oh my (OK, not really, but it's quite the hodgepodge). The general smell of this is a sophisticated blend of the Winner's Circle Red Roses - and one of my all time favorite candies - Red Hots!

I’ve tried to mix it with Britney fantasy perfume and even that couldn’t hide the powderyness and bitterness of this perfume. I really love the perfume version and it is much smoother and spicier than the EDT which does sort of deliver a big hairspray type cloud. Just discovered this and it's splendid, especially since it's such a bargain (it definitely smells 6 times more expensive).

This is a clean, sweet and elegant floral perfume to wear with a DRESS, on a romantic cruise, romantic dinner date, with your husband because this does smell of a comfortably and happily married lady.because behind it all there is such warmness from the spices, the ylang, the almond and the heliotrope. In truth I didn’t get much else (its obviously me), no peach, no anything else, the roses were very ‘in your face’. I always trial perfumes in different ways, so after doing light sprays I went to my guest bathroom and sprayed myself like 5 times to see if more notes would come out. This has also been noted by others, both directly using the word chypre and by describing a "camphorous" or medicinal aspect to it. It starts off quite strong with plenty of projection filling the air, and it wears off over the next few hours, but you can still catch whiffs of it off your skin during the next four hours without needing to bring your elbow to your nose.
