About this deal

The Fourth Closet reveals the height of three of the four of Charlie's forms (baby, child, and teenager) [11]: Lazarides, Tasos (December 16, 2015). "The Next 'Five Nights at Freddy's' Will be…a Novel Called 'Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes'?". TouchArcade . Retrieved December 20, 2015. In The Fourth Closet, it's ultimately revealed that she was the one murdered by William Afton instead of her brother Sammy, as she first believed. She is one of the four animatronic dolls built by Henry to recreate his late daughter after she was murdered.

The Silver Eyes | "She looked down, and her gaze fixed on something: three widely-spaced grooves in the ground. She knelt, thoughtful, and ran her finger over one of them. The gravel was scattered away, the marks worn heavily into the dirt. A camera tripod of some sort?" Marla and Charlie have a really great relationship, as Marla seems to be a bit overprotective of Charlie.

Let’s just start this review off by saying that I always look forward to Graphic Novel adaptation of FNaF books, but this one… was a really let down. The stories themselves were good (that’s why I didn’t give it a 1 star), the art though… He sometimes appears as a compassionate man, but like many serial killers, this is just a mere facade that he uses to manipulate others, especially children. In The Silver Eyes, after he realized that the spirits of the children he murdered are trapped in the cursed place, for a time, Afton actually believed this to be good, in that they can have an eternal party that never ends, while he was in fact trapping his victims' souls in metal prisons of restless torture. He momentarily refers to his victims as his "family". William is fascinated with the animatronics to the point where he disguises himself as one of them until he becomes that in his Springtrap form, although this wasn't intentional on his part. Charlie seems to follow her father's footsteps in robotic engineering due to her trying to get a degree in the subject when she is in college during The Twisted Ones.

At the end of the novel, it is revealed what was written on the real Charlotte Emily's tombstone. It read: The Silver Eyes | "She always expected to see pain, anger, sorrow written on her face, but they never were. Her cheeks were pink, and her round face looked almost cheerful, like always." Sarah wants nothing more than to be beautiful, popular and seen at school. Making a pact with an old robot she's found seems no big deal. But what does this robot want in return? The Silver Eyes | "Charlie always looked like she was about to smile, her brown eyes wide and sparkling, her thin mouth ready to curve up, even when she wanted to sob, the incongruity a mild betrayal."Several elements from The Silver Eyes (and its sequels) were adopted by the video games, including mentions of Hurricane, Utah in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator in the lawsuit segments. Schreier, Jason (December 15, 2015). "Five Nights At Freddy's Is Getting A Book". Kotaku Australia . Retrieved February 28, 2023. Unnamed Boy - Lured away by William in the Spring Bonnie suit. The graphic novel version of The Fourth Closet potrays the boy as being named Gabriel. It is shown in The Twisted Ones that upon becoming Springtrap and being released from the small room he was trapped in, William is in an invigorated state of being, having felt powerful due to his newfound strength and his control of the Twisted Animatronics. He expressed how he felt like he was ‘more’ than both his past self and Henry. William was extremely jealous of Henry Emily, loathing his former business partner to an obsessive degree, nursing his grudge in diaries. a b Hughes, William (October 21, 2019). "Five years of Five Nights At Freddy's". The A.V. Club . Retrieved February 28, 2023.

Following the ceremony to honor Michael, John tells Charlie that he remembers seeing a person in a yellow Freddy Fazbear costume on the day of Michael's death, suspecting that this stranger was the murderer. That night, Charlie and her friends return to the restaurant, further accompanied by friends Marla, Lamar, and Marla's younger half-brother Jason. While playing an impulsive game of hide-and-seek with John, Charlie encounters one of the animatronics, Foxy the Pirate, who she was terrified of as a child. Recalling suppressed details of her childhood, Charlie remembers that Henry used to own another restaurant in New Harmony, named Fredbear's Family Diner, featuring two animatronics: yellow versions of Freddy and Bonnie. The following morning, Marla, along with her stepbrother Jason, greets Charlie in the motel where she and Jessica reside for now. They then go to a restaurant where they plan to meet with the rest of the group, including Lamar, who also just arrived in town. Charlie and her friends then attend the scholarship's launch ceremony at their old school, where Michael's parents give a speech about him. Afterward, Charlie and John head for a walk to visit her childhood home again. She manages to confront Springtrap, demanding that he answer why he had taken him, why he had chosen Sammy instead of her. He replies that he did not take him, but her. Suddenly the building begins to collapse and Springtrap escapes. Without another option, all begin to look for the exit. William fears one thing and one thing only, and that is death. While in his weakened state in The Fourth Closet, he expresses that he is afraid of thinking about how his time is running out, how he’d die if his goal of transporting his soul into a robot isn't achieved. He also mentions how he would rather suffer eternally in the chronically pained state he is in than pass on.Frank, Allegra (December 14, 2015). "Five Nights at Freddy's novel hits stores next year". Polygon . Retrieved December 14, 2015. Charlie is very similar to Michael Afton, the protagonist of the game series, in aspects of character and motivation.
