I’ve never owned a digital piano before but this is the second B2 I’ve had now from two different retailers and the sound is audible when learning to play. On the other hand, the feature is quite frustrating if I’m looking to speed the beat of the metronome up.

I’d seen a review online about the Korg’s new B2, and thought it might be well suited for me because of its simplicity.The weight of the piano keys varies depending on the note they are on since they are graded; the deeper notes feel heavier than the keys inside the higher octave. It’s of vital importance that we make sure we teach our piano students, and ourselves, about the whole spectrum of music. The Korg B2 has 12 different sound including 5 Grand Pianos (German, Italian, Classic, Jazz, Ballad), Stage Electric Piano (Wurlitzer-style preset), 60’s Electric Piano (Rhodes-like preset), Digital Electric Piano (DX7-style synthesizer), Harpsichord, Pipe Organ, Electric Organ, Orchestral Strings. Still, unfortunately, the connection itself actually feels very flimsy, and it really won't take a lot of force to break it off completely - something that doesn't tend to happen with, you know, a jack. That feature is only available if you shell out for the PU-2 triple pedal unit, which adds quite a bit to the cost. If you don’t like the sound that includes in the Korg B2, you can change the sound to your liking using the app.The USB port also allows you to connect mobile apps, such as the Skoove online lessons and the Korg Module app, for more sounds. B2 is a piano for anyone from beginners to seasoned players looking for something comfortable to practice on. The B2SP variation maintains the fully-weighted keys but also comes with a stand and a three-pedal unit. You can use a USB cableto connect this instrument's USB port to your smartphone, tablet, or computer, and use the B2 as a MIDI keyboard to play an external sound module. The piano makes use of the PCM sampling technology which is the basic form of the sound sapling and harmonic imaging in this piano.
