We cover cultural events, family days out, and eating out in Newcastle, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham, Teesside, as well as travel, short-breaks and holidays further afield. If there’s one thing I that I hope everyone can take away from this review, it’s that board-gaming isn’t about owning the most popular or expensive games, it’s about trying new things and spending time with the people you love. his choice of items in the box were errrmm interesting haha (think cat fluff, a feather, a very specific piece of Lego!the makers claim the game is ‘cleverly designed so that children and adults have an equal chance of winning’. There is also a square where you can ask one of the other players to either find a specific symbol, or say what is hidden at a specific position – but choose carefully, because if they get it right, YOU lose a life! My almost 6 year old seemed to enjoy it, my 3 year old didn't have a clue but considering it's aimed at age 8+ there is no surprise!

I will definitely be getting this out to play when we have friends over, it's a game that doesn't last for an age and is great for a variety of ages. The covering pieces are lifted off the symbol tiles and the players have 60 seconds to memorise the positions of the symbols. Baffled is the perfect example of why you should never judge a book by its cover, or rather, a game by its box.

ICECOOL is a fun flicking game that is a great test of dexterity for children, teenagers and adults alike. I would be satisfied by the argument, that the board and the covers, add to the theme of the game, yet it has none. They like card games, board games as well as computer games, and I love how they all provide the opportunity to spend some quality family time together, creating important bonds and memories. The oldest player goes first and they roll the dice, moving clockwise around the board and follow the instructions on the squares they land on.

I remember vividly a few years back, when I was just starting my now somewhat monstrous board game collection, a friend bringing me for Christmas a copy of Baffled.

The Baffled game is great for challenging children’s memory skills, encouraging them to hold their concentration! We always love finding games that we can all play together on family gatherings and at times like Christmas.
