About this deal

The swearing in this book is moderate but I didn't find it bad, I'm exposed to it on a daily basis not because of my parents but because of my friends and school. My 16 year old daughter read this series recently and my younger daughter (Age 12) who is an avid fantasy reader wanted to as well. They have core values which are put forward in a way that does not make young people want to turn up their noses at. It's all about the rElEaSe for them, because apparently, these fictional bitches have so much sexual tension that they can't help rubbing up on each other every twenty ** pages.

I didn’t like her much in the previous books but I acknowledge that her character has potential for such depth that Maas really tried to develop here. When Lucien fell in love with a lowborn faerie, his father had her executed while his two eldest brothers held him down and made him watch. What makes her truly terrifying and sadistic is the human eye belonging to one of her victims which she wears on a ring, keeping him constantly alive to watch every horrific act she commits. Readers who seek a prolonged, palace-rattling sex scene between protagonists Feyre and Rhysand as they depart the series' center stage will not be disappointed. Surrounded by beauty and kindness in A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES, Feyre soon begins to fall in love with Tamlin -- and to learn more about the terrible curse that hangs over him and his people. But an evil faery lord is plotting an invasion that will destroy both human and faery lands, and Rhys and his friends are the only obstacle in his path. So I would say this book would be okay for 14 + maybe even a 13-year-old but anything younger I would not recommend but also take in their maturity as they may even be more mature than a 17-year-old.

Loved the book but rather wait a year more than less to start reading it, so you can truly enjoy it. Overall, I have been able to place this novel within the seven books which I have rated five stars so far this year. Her second task is to solve a riddle inscribed on a wall, but since Feyre can’t read, she doesn’t know which answer to choose. Now, you might think that the book would continue with the Disney tale, but it becomes so much more, packed with adventure and life.When Nesta finds out about Feyre’s pregnancy, Rhysand looks at her threateningly, because of course he thinks she’s a danger to his kid. I knew before even starting this book that I would dislike the journey that SJM had obviously planned for Nesta but I elected to power through because I genuinely liked Nesta’s character and she resonated with me on a personal level. It's perfect for anyone who wants about as much romance as The Hunger Games, and the powers of The Young Elites!

Not only this but Feyre and Rhysand take it upon themselves to tear down a whole block of APARTMENTS where PEOPLE LIVE just because they don’t like that Nesta stays there. However, she can immediately break the curse and free everyone if she solves a riddle, but if she guesses wrong, she will be tortured and killed.As the winter solstice celebrations loom at the court, the immortal couple hosts a gathering of beloved friends and family -- and worries that Feyre's traumatized, furious sister Nesta, who's been forced into faerie form against her will, won't make an appearance.
