In their noble and righteous quest to introduce RGB lighting to every computer peripheral imaginable, Corsair recently released the ST100 RGB Premium Headset Stand. mm connector for both the microphone and headset, such as the HyperX Cloud Alpha that I recently reviewed. I moved my VOID dongle back over to the PC rather than on the ST100, and the headset works totally fine. With the HS70 adapter plugged into the back of the computer, I get drop outs if I so much as turn my head wrong. Hey guys so I spent a bit of time trying to resolve this issue and I have finally run out of options.

I recently received a ST100 RGB as a gift to go along with my Strafe RGB, Scimitar RGB, and Void Wireless headset and so far I loved all my cosair products but this ST100 is a nightmare that won't respond to any commands in CUE (reinstalled CUE 4 times) it stays on its default rainbow mode even though all other devices follow the lighting link. From lighting profile change, to monitoring GPU temperature, users can switch between modes quickly without having to go through iCUE program.

I even have 2 or three less reliable single ports on the backside that give me the troubles every so often. Sometimes it would randomly light back up for a few seconds then go off again, sometimes repeating several times before finally shutting off completely.Corsair seemed to be struggling with brand identify a couple years ago with their ‘Corsair Gaming’ brand and associated ‘tramp stamp’ logo, but things are a lot more under control now, with their products all featuring the Corsair “sails” logo that has a distinct, stylish look.

Once your computer has restarted, open an Internet browser and download the latest version of the iCUE software. Plugged the HS70 adapter into a USB Type C to Type A adapter and then plugged that into my mobo's type C port.So I update the firmware (same version as last time), and that fixes the problem for another day or two until the same thing happens all over again. I think they're stacked too close together and too close to the Ethernet on the one and the others i just think they short out with dust or dog hair, your mileage may vary.

and it looks like the issue it had with RGB turning off when locking Windows or closing iCUE is gone, defaults to rainbow like it used to. Which is a shame, bc I've been pretty exclusive on my Corsair peripherals for a number of years now. However, I can't solely place a fix on that alone, because I also tweaked other settings at the behest of Corsair support. If I download the ST100s firmware it will work and follow lighting link for a few minutes at best before reverting back to default and not changing anymore.I went into my PC and Deleted anything listed as Corsair, Anything listed as Void Pro and even went into my Device Manager and Deleted anything related to ST100 and Void Pro and then uninstalled the Software ICUE.
