I really appreciated how the focus was put on music and how the author retraced every step they took in the industry by constantly mentioning albums, songs, concepts and eras, while also including their personal struggles, aspirations and dreams in the process.As digital artists, BTS has been communicating with the world through the internet and this book allows readers to immediately access trailers, music videos, and more online to have a rich understanding of all the key moments in BTS history. The amount of love and appreciation I have for them is more than enough for me to endure these hard times caused by their absence. A lot of time is also lent to the narrator describing the songs, sometimes pointing out details from the production or getting commentary from the members. Tells of how these little boys who came from a small company came to become the phenomenon they are despite the kpop industry being against them.

Or maybe they've been at it for years and we only learned about it now, with the tannies you never know. There are still many barriers that need to be broken and BTS haven’t peaked yet so let’s please keep working together to reach new heights. and I felt an extreme emotion, that in some ways everything I had done up until then had been worthless. When the book inevitably jumps into some new marker of success the reader absolutely has to know about, I'm often left wondering why this wasn't focused on more.It clearly tries to build this hero myth around the members of BTS, doing so mostly by boasting with numbers and surface-level beating-the-odds motivational clichés (an actual quote from the book: "– – BTS's accomplishments over those seven years followed the progression of what could almost be considered a classical hero narrative"). As ARMY, I loved how this book strove to portray everything fans love about BTS and to describe not just how unfairly they were treated but how unprecedented their path and subsequent success was. I wonder when these men even had the time to work on this though, cause we've been drowning in new music and other content for a while like.

A lot of quotes from the band members gave me deja vu, like I'd heard them in lives or interviews before. I truly wish them nothing but happiness and health in their future and I count the days until they can be together again doing what they love.

While reading this book, I couldn't stop the tears from rolling down my face because I kept being reminded of all the emotions I've felt while stanning BTS. Through personal, stripped-back interviews conducted away from the cameras, BTS share personal, behind-the-scenes stories from their musical journey so far and discuss its significance for the first time. In fact, if we had thought a lot, it would have been harder, and because we were just seven really simple people, maybe that was what made it possible. Nevertheless, will doubtless be taking the book down from my shelf again and again just because it makes me smile.
