I mean plastic quality and QC are two different things. A QC reject could have defective molding, lost joints, or paint, but more often than not it’s still the same exact plastic and quality of plastic you’ll get on release. It’s not like the plastic somehow going to be more dense. Naturally, a good Transformers character demands a good figure, and a perennial part of my collecting has been trying to find a perfect version of the red speedster, both in terms of screen-accuracy, and general fun. Not wrong but I wouldn't expect an early sample to have the same plastic as the final product as it's still in testing phase. So not only i sanded the flat side, i also have to sand the sides to make it as round as i can. It is already sanded on that pic, but you can see it is still not perfectly round.
