About this deal

This one took me a minute since I normally wear regular Profumo during the Fall/Winter months here in Italy. This one to me is geared towards the winter as to where Profumo would be fall, spring, summer nights.

One of the greatest considerations you must have is how the smell of a certain fragrance makes you feel. It has that same original Acqua di Gio dna, but with the added incense it gives it more character and creates a louder fragrance. Honestly, it made me dislike incense, though I still like it because it is one of my most complemented scents. My new bottle is a non-mag 2021 bottle and to me, the incense in the opening has been toned down, but it’s there throughout the life of the fragrance. As the fragrance evolves, a beautiful bouquet of jasmine blossoms is introduced along with hints of orange and bergamot.Since that realization I've come to admit that my hatred for ADG Profumo was for all the wrong reasons, I was blinded by nostalgia, and I didn't want the magic of the original to end. To me it was as if it had sold it's soul, forgoing it's Friday night jeans and button up shirt for a suit and tie and trading it's youthful exuberance for a touch more class and sophistication. Originality is a variable that is so prized by many in the industry because countless aromas come into the market, yet majority of them are a mere replica of one another. Anybody who says it's boring is probably routinely committing chemical warfare with their niche frags in situations where they shouldn't be wearing them.

Super versatile, every occasion, every season but it feels like it shines in spring days and summer nights when it cools down a bit (when it gets dark and it's not so hot anymore outside). I will keep it for memories in the future and may wear it again, but I reckon there are far better frags out there than chasing after this one. I where this less then the Profondo so by the time I get to using my back up this will be rare juice instead of fragrance that everyone is wearing, so im sad it’s going but im happy I found out . Let's face it -- Jeremy hyped this up mostly because he was sucking up to Morallis so they can work together. The best way to sum this one up is smells great on others in terms of sillage but not enjoyable to wear as it smells a bit cloying, linear and annoying.

The opening is what kills this fragrance from being more of a "fresh" fragrance due to the spice and opposing aquatic notes, in my opinion.

Let our powers combine (While reading this review please play Captain Planet intro music in your head). Imagine you are having one of those southeast Asian barbeques which they put leaves under the food by Bali seaside, then you squeezed some lemon juice on top of it, but the juice dripped into the burning charcoal so leaves caught on fire and the whole smoker is burning.This is a masterpiece and I don't care how many wear this, this is the best smelling fragrance I ever smelled. Please note, as with all fragrances, they must be kept out of direct sunlight and away from hot/cold elements. i had this scent for a long while went thru 2 180ml bottles so idk if it still holds up today with new batches. Seeing how everyone’s nose is different I won’t argue with people who say this smells just like Profumo. After a few hours the projection was a little further than arms length and there was still a noticeable scent trail.
