It's fair to say that Heidi has been pretty attached to Baby Annabell and she has taken her everywhere - she joins Heidi on her walk to school, goes to bed with Heidi at night and even sits with Heidi as she eats her dinner. During an appointment with the health visitor, she expressed concern that my daughter just wasn’t looking ready to walk. All little ones need to do is stand her up straight and hold onto her hands and Lilly will start to take small steps! She always tries to change Ophelia's nappies, comfort her when she's crying and help move her from A to B (much to my distress). Thankfully I had Twitter and lots of late night conversations with people about all the questions I had.

It's worth mentioning that she doesn't come with any batteries so remember that if you are planning to get her as a Christmas present. The girls are still curious about how it all works and they love babies and were over the moon when we had their brother. Her hands are positioned to make them easy to hold on to and perfectly interact with her Baby Annabell Baby Walker! It’s a funny thing, maybe because she was my second child but I just wasn’t concerned at all and thought that the health visitor was being over cautious. Ophelia is at a stage where she's learning to walk so Eva loves to walk Annabell next to her sister. Caitlin got a baby Annabell doll for Christmas a few years ago and we weren't impressed but this one looks great, love the way she whimpers when she falls over!Don’t worry, if she stumbles and starts to cry, you can quickly soothe her with a cuddle and patting her on her back. I worried for his first few months but soon figured out that he was always going to be taller than average, and in a hurry to walk, speak and run.

My daughter was delighted with the walking doll, she loved the fact she could teach the doll to walk and I think her face in the picture above says it all. It is one of those toys that actually does work and Heidi has already played with her for hours - in fact it's as if new Baby Annabell is actually part of the family. If you have a Baby Annabell fan in your house, and you are looking to make an addition to her doll collection this Christmas I think they will love the Baby Annabell Learns to Walk Doll just as much as my daughters did.I much prefer Eva to attend to this baby in the caring (very rough/haphazard like a normal 3 year old) manner than her actual sister. You can place her on her tummy for tummy time and watch her crawl, she can be sat up and then take her first steps!
