I myself like the original, although I’ve replaced the meringue with whipped cream, we still have some family that like the meringue, so I have to end up making two puddings for the holidays.

They truly are made with pantry staples (which a lot of recipes claim, but then ask for weird ingredients). This just makes a more cohesive batter than if you were to add the milk with the butter mixture (where it tends to separate). I always do 2 desserts But for a different reason because I always have to do a chocolate Dessert Also!I made these for my kids (I can’t eat wheat or sugar) and all three liked them, the teens and my 6 year old. It was noted by the New York Times for being unique because Mondelez International, the company that Kraft created to own the brand, decided to spend all of its advertising dollars on social media rather than a combination of advertising platforms.
