Marc Jacobs Dot bottle's signature is the oversized cap featuring butterfly wings and a polka dot ball centre. The dry downs are similar here, although Reaction doesn't have the bread-like quality I smell in Dot. I wore this every single day of my travels on Semester at Sea, and it is the absolute perfect scent for me. This impacts the ability of the fragrance to last and around eighty percent of the oils in an EDT fragrance will evaporate within three hours of application. Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum is a delicate perfume which captivates with a delectable blend of red berries, succulent dragon fruit, and sweet honeysuckle.

Red berries and exotic dragon fruit set the tone for Mark Jacobs’ sweet and enticing Dot perfume, which also includes a hint of honeysuckle. I think the avant-garde bottle saves it and grants it with a collectability status and I hate being a sucker for that lmao.I prefer something with more depth, more spicy, smoky for evening or special occasions so wouldn’t wear it on a night out or if wanting to make an impression. I also always spray some of the fragrance into the lid - most of the time that gives me an idea of sillage and longevity. I got the 4ml splash top bottles, and they're oh so cute, but the splash top makes application a lot more difficult.

I went to the movies with my boyfriend last Friday and I noticed he kept sniffing my neck and scarf. Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum is a delicate perfume which blends red berries with orange and jasmine blossom on top of a creamy vanilla, driftwood and sensual musk. It kind of gets hard to tell notes from another, but the dry down is just less fruity than the opening notes. Edit: I received a bottle of this for a Valentine's day gift and, to my pleasant surprise, I picked up a bit more red berries from a fresh bottle rather than the large, uncapped bottle I had been smelling at my work. A lot of perfumes I owned were left at the house my ex and I shared after our split, and I’m certainly not missing this one.

I would not say this is a loud perfume but it does speak out with a ladylike quality of feminine spirit. I just wish it was named something else than Dot, it really has a lot more substance and depth than the name and bottle convey.

The scent isn’t something I’d usually go for, very fresh, floral, I don’t really get any fruity notes except for maybe melon but it’s still nice for every day.I get a blast of juicy fruits and coconut water on initial application and then it dries down to a slightly more floral fragrance. Not only do I love the scent, but the ladybug concept here is really sweet, too, though I must say that I don't think of ladybugs as being as tropical as the coconut and dragonfruit notes here. I know that this won't be for everybody due to individual chemistry and Marc Jacobs should stop the assembly line for a short minute ( I won't ever forgive him for Decadence-EVER! Update: having worn this a few times I've decided it doesn't really work with my skin chemistry, it's too floral for me too and after awhile I find it a bit much.

Nice perfume very nice but am disappointed they didn't work hard to come up with something completely new.Then it meshes with my chemistry and pulls red fruits and berries and turns very linear and generic with no base or middle notes. Coconut is very faint, almost imperceptible, even the red fruits are pleasant in combination with the white flowers and the musk.
