Exact same one, verbatim, at my workplace, where I was sneaking in some reading time (because I couldn’t complete this book the night before!) when I should have been completing my paperwork. Didn’t really endear me to my supervisor, but really who cares? I just freaking had my life changed by iPad!! This is a preview of the upcoming docuseries which is only a snippet of a much larger story. I prefer to enjoy the ride the author takes me on and this ride on The Revenge List was...curvy. She really grabbed my attention and was extremely relatable. I truly felt like I was her and living exactly what she was experiencing as I was reading the book. She and David were so very interesting and intricate as characters. I was in turns in love with and angry at David. I suppose that means that I really followed exactly what Emma was feeling! These two characters kept me up at night in a way I haven’t had a book enthrall me in a very long time. I think I would’ve done anything he asked in that moment. I would’ve given him anything, told him anything he wanted to know, if only he’d just keep looking at me with this acceptance.”

Did that change the way you looked at Peter at all? Did it affect how you viewed Megan and her thoughts about her marriage and her husband? Talaga didn’t realize it right away, but Boissoneau and Hermiston were telling her about the same lost child. As I read the book, I went through a lot of emotions - happy, sad, angry (and not necessarily for the reasons you might think). I laughed. I cried. I cheered and I cursed. This book kind of put me through the wringer. When Megan realized that the image she took was her daughter – what were your thoughts? When she brought the photo to Peter – did you agree with his reaction? It starts off with someone with obvious anger issues. Did this make me like the character more or less? Honestly, I wasn't sure - she was very flawed and I wasn't sure if I was going to like her or not. Let's be honest - she made a lot of stupid decisions that cost her more than she could afford. The twists and turns - I'm being honest when I say I didn't see them.
