Please Note: Should you find that your finished curtains are slightly creased then before hanging them you may decide to iron them. For small windows with an inset rod, it is important to measure the length accurately so the curtain hangs well and doesn't fold over at the bottom. By doing this, you’re simultaneously stitching down the eyelet tape and hemming the top of the curtain panel.

Note that if your pattern match is not a “straight match” (the pattern is not exactly horizontally matched to the next drop) you can’t swap the half widths in this way. Sew the weights to the fabric using a handheld needle and thread and fold the hem for the second time, ironing once more.
