About this deal

I had exactly about seven hundred and fifty million expectations because ACOTAR and it’s series left an impression on literally everyone out there who has read it. I think Tessa's strategy is to take many of the familiar we are used to in the original story and flip it out.

As for a retelling of Cinderella this book captured all the main aspects of the tale without it being too much like the original. The thing that I love about YA or NA fantasy romance is, because of the minimum focus on spice scenes, the characters have the chance to get to know each other through actions and conversation instead of sweaty physical activities. Adding to the confession, I was actually very influenced by my ACOTAR thoughts as I slid into this book. It was highly enjoyable and loved all the references to the original story, but what I liked even more was all the new bits to the story which made it different from other Cinderella retellings that I have read before. I also liked that the Prince had a playboy exterior but on the inside he is just a soft shy boy-which was fun to read in a ML.This was a fresh and very satisfying Cinderella story complete with hot fae, magical twists and a beautiful love story. Being bound by her bargain and forced to act as a maid and do everything her step family wants, her life is anything but easy and all she wants is to escape. Yesterday I finished one book and I opened this one thinking that I'll just read a few lines, get a little into the story and go to bed at approximately 10:30pm.

None of that nonsense about a prince not recognizing a woman he supposedly fell in love with one beautiful night. This was one of the best fairy tale retellings I’ve ever read so far and I’m definitely not exaggerating! Of course, Franco and Ember crossing their paths for the first time doesn't go quite well, igniting a spark of hate in Ember's heart for the Prince. I absolutely adore her and even through this book is only 490 pages long, we really got know her as a person and I loved that! The Entangled with the Fae series continues onto it’s next retelling, bringing Cinderella to life in all of its Fae glory.It’s just so good and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves romancy books, because this is the perfect combination of romance and fantasy! Always repressed and always blamed for the murder of her father, Ember has been kept in the shadows and held for her inheritance. With each new scheme thrown at her by her stepmother, Ember yearns for her freedom and a chance to leave her family behind.

My favorite part was obviously the chance to see Franco (whom we've met in the second book of the Fair Isle trilogy) getting his happy ending, since he was one of the characters I liked the most.
