About this deal

In summer 2022, LEGO announced a price increase of up to 20% on their sets. After the launch of their Adults Welcome campaign and the release of many new, larger sets, it will be intriguing to see how sales have been affected. Fans have been using 10 cents per piece as a metric to judge the fairness of LEGO set prices, but with many sets containing small pieces, it’s worth considering the price per weight as well. Home to the house of Elrond, Rivendell is a key location in Middle--earth and events of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, as the place where the Fellowship was formed and the quest to destroy the One Ring began. The steady transition between bright green, lime green and flame yellowish orange foliage looks gorgeous too, especially against the colourful roof. The model also includes a taller Cypress tree that exhibits completely different building techniques. I was uncertain about this tree in official images, but its upward-pointing leaves are superb, arranged around three-branch cross axles.
