Making your own zero waste Halloween decorations from old sheets, clothes, and fabric. Easily turn these into ghosts to hang around the house with a bit of creativity. According to The Fairyland Trust, 79% of kids dress up for Halloween every year in the UK (as do plenty of adults). Frighteningly though, about seven million Halloween costumes are binned each year and four in ten costumes are only worn once. Sadly, most of these creepy costumes end up in landfill. Display the sustainable terrarium haunted houses as tabletop decorations or centerpieces during Halloween gatherings.

Clothes of Halloween past

Allow the wreath to dry completely, and then hang it on your door to welcome Halloween visitors with a festive and eco-friendly touch. Place a small object, such as a cotton ball, in the center of each piece of fabric, twist the fabric to cover the object, and then tie it closed with string.
