WOW. Ugh. I swear, every time I think Brittainy C. Cherry can't get any better at writing, can't get any better at making me feel EVERY SINGLE EMOTION, can't get any better at bringing characters to life... she just goes and does it. She's like Cardi B man, she loves proving people wrong, and dang it, I love it when she proves me wrong. I wouldn't compare this book to the author’s other ones because it's mostly not as overwhelming and the blurb isn’t something that I haven't read before but in no way does this mean that the story wasn’t unique because it still felt like an emotional rollercoaster. And what made this book so special is the way it’s written. It's a very beautiful and touching story about two broken and lost souls helping each other to find themselves. Absolutely amazing and a definite must read, but so are all of her books. La historia es muy emocional con momentos muy tristes, tiernos y divertidos, es una historia donde los personajes tienen que encontrarse a sí mismos y tener un crecimiento para poder llegar a ser felices. Grace Harris had an enviable life. But behind the perfect facade, she was slowly crumbling as she entered a new phase in her life. Tired of being safe and predictable, she decided to live her life with the help of the town outcast. Brittainy C. Cherry se consagra como una de mis autoras de romántica favoritas 😍 Os juro que he amado cada palabra del libro, aunque es a algo que ya me tiene acostumbrada esta autora.

Ugh, I'm still not done being mad at Grace's mom. I could hate-rant on forever .... I wanted to throw her mother out the nearest window! But ... tiny little spoiler??? Her mom does come around in the end. Thank you Jesus! ☺ If you haven't read a book by Ms. Cherry, you are doing yourself a grave disservice. This is a must read of epic proportions. This story will be in the running of my favorite reads of 2018. If I could give this more than "five" stars, I so would! After 15 years of marriage and 7 miscarriages, Grace and her husband fall apart. She has been cheated on many times and also, her husband impregnates his last lover! Behind the Bars” is the first novel in the “Music Street” series and was released in the year 2017. When Elliot first met Jasmine Greene, she came in like raindrops. He was just the awkward musician, and she the high school queen. The only things that they had with each other was their loneliness and their music. There was something in her eyes that told him her smile was not always true. Something in her voice gave him a hope that he always wishing he could find. And in just a flash, she was gone.

What a powerful, emotionally stunning story! Gah, you guys! With every book Brittainy C. Cherry releases I think “that’s it, there’s no way she’ll ever be topping that” – but every time she prove me wrong. Every time she puts me through the emotional wringer, has me devastated and sobbing – and crying for joy and happiness. DISGRACE way true perfection. There is not one single thing I didn’t like – well, a couple of characters aside, ugh! This book is not JUST a story, its a pious sermon, reminding us to open our hearts always. Let the fresh air of acceptance and love come in, swirl around, drive away demons of prejudices, stink of bias and mould of judgements out of our hearts. She's only here for the summer and still in love with her ex - maybe he can have a few nice months with her .... Grace Es una mujer con tantas inseguridades, que ha sufrido bastante y que ha hecho todo por los demás, lo que esperaban de ella y no para ella, a lo largo de la historia fue redescubriéndose a sí misma, a hacer cosas que no se había atrevido por el que dirán y sobre todo ´por la desaprobación de su mamá y al final nos encontramos con una Grace valiente segura de sí misma, con voz propia y con una gran capacidad de amar. She wrote her first really bad novel at the age of sixteen, then she attended college to get a Creative Writing degree, and her first novel was published in the year 2013. She graduated from Carroll University with a Bachelors Degree in Theater Arts with a minor in Creative Writing. Just like with all of Brittainy's books, I cried a lot! A LOT! I almost drowned reading the last 20%!!! The changes of both these people felt like the efforts of a writer trying to wrap up everything nicely towards the end of the book.

It also helps that they share a love of books and as they get to know each other, they find out even more. But... but, this story has the most "awfulest" church going town people e-v-e-r! It was just too over the top and that's why this book didn't get a five star from me. DISGRACE is a sweet but sexy standalone that will DEFINITELY have you wondering about small towns everywhere! This author writes flawlessly and lyrically. Every word is chosen wisely so it can bring out the best of this world.

Brittainy C Cherry has solidified her mark in the literary world with her timeless words and effortless storytelling. I don’t even think she knows how much her words alone has touched so many of her readers and how much they mean to us. How can you not love a Brittainy C. Cherry book? She spins a tale that is so in depth and full of emotion that it grips you hard and doesn't let go and this one is no exception. h rating: 2.5 stars. Grace. I appreciated how she cared for others and was genuinely good, but I really struggled with how she let people treat her. Heat level: Okay. They have some okay tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not very many scenes and not all that descriptive. I personally would've liked more chemistry sexually here. I get that it was more about the escape that sex brought them, but I think showing more of a connection through their intimate times would've been nice too.The hero slept with many women, also taken women 🙄, (whom he treated badly) and based on the fact, that heroine's husband repeatedly cheated on the heroine, that her father (a priest) cheated on his wife/h's mother, hero's involvement with taken women was weird for me. They spoke about his manwhorishness, but elegantly dropped this topic - of course, why to dwell on a 'normal' male behaviour?!? A damaged broken good-looking man always gets a free pass!! How could I doubt it?! It was simple, the way we loved. We loved the scars of our past, and we loved the unknown of our future. We loved the mistakes. We loved the celebrations. We loved our darkness, and we loved the light. I hated all the gossip in their small town. There were definitely quite a few unlikable characters. Although there were a few great ones too. I loved Grace's sister Judy and her friend Josie. But Grace's mom was really annoying.
