Given the complex nature of the cinematography (and the frequently chaotic nature of the imagery), the actual fine detail on display can vary somewhat from scene to scene, and even from shot to shot. Everything Everywhere finds absurdity in many, from spectacular kung-fu fights performed with rectal dildos to hot dog fingers.When an interdimensional rupture unravels reality, an unlikely hero must channel her newfound powers to fight bizarre and bewildering dangers from the multiverse as the fate of the world hangs in the balance. Lionsgate Home Entertainment and A24 bring Everything Everywhere All at Once to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray as a two-disc combo pack with a flyer for a Digital HD Copy, which can be redeemed via VUDU and unlocking the 4K Dolby Vision HDR version with Dolby Atmos audio. The everything bagel threatens the multiverse on Ultra HD with an awesomely beautiful and often mesmerizing HEVC H. Alpha Bits (HD; 11:23) shows some VFX breakdowns and other special effects wizardry, along with stunt choreography and the like.

From the same imagination that brought us the surreal comedy Swiss Army Man, Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan's even more bizarrely entertaining Everything Everywhere All at Once is an ingeniously bonkers phantasmagoria that is just as moving as it is visually thrilling.Everything Everywhere All at Once provides that kind of representation for Asian audiences (and for Asian actors as well), but the remarkable thing is that it does so while also proving that diverse audiences can indeed identify with any character regardless of ethnicity, gender, or sexuality. When applied it creates a discernible level of immersion that coincides with the onscreen events nicely. Audio is offered in English Dolby Atmos, with optional English SDH, Spanish, and Chinese (traditional) subtitles. Absurdity abounds, in a good way, as the outrageousness of the time shifting, multiverse framework confounds with each iteration. As for the disc, the image and sound is good but the 4k is only marginally better and might be too dark.
