As with all licensed veterinary medicines, FRONTLINE PLUS ®, FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ® and FRONTLINE ® SPOT ON have undergone extensive safety evaluation. FRONTLINE Plus also contains an important addition of (S)-methoprene which works to prevent the multiplication of fleas by killing fleas in their immature stages (eggs, larvae and pupae). But I saw a lot of people using this treatment and decided to try it out since we started to find ticks and fleas on one of them and I will say it has seemed to kill them and I like that it comes with stickers to put on the calendar to remind you of when you last did the treatment, but he is still itching that area around his neck and I’m not sure what that means.
