LG includes a dedicated sRGB mode if you want to limit the color range, which is a great point to reference if you’re doing any creative work on this screen.

We initially used results from the LG 48 C1 OLED review, but we've since changed our testing exceptionally for OLED monitors to use a smaller window size that won't trigger the ABL and affect the results. While LED-based monitors (IPS, TN, and VA) all claim 1ms response times these days, the UltraGear boasts 0. Each pixel can control its brightness (including going completely off), offering the best contrast you can get from currently available display tech. Both are great for console gaming, though I’d say the LG C2 OLED has an edge because of its support for Dolby Vision HDR, which is available on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.Unlike the QD-OLED technology used on the Dell Alienware AW3423DW, the W-OLED panel used on this monitor can't display colors as bright as pure white, resulting in worse overall color volume.

HDR10 is all that’s available for PCs, but the lack of Dolby Vision means you can’t take advantage of dynamic metadata on a console like the PlayStation 5 or a streaming box like the Nvidia Shield.

OLED is the current reigning king of display technology, so it was only a matter of time before we saw the technology make its way into gaming monitors.

It's also compatible with LG's Calibration Studio software, which allows you to load an ICC profile directly to the monitor and enjoy a calibrated image with any source. If you’re looking for a huge 4K screen for your PC then this display is perfect, otherwise you may find something more suitable to your needs for less.
