About this deal

The book excels at making children question why they do what they do, and how different some of his behaviour is. The book itself describes the very intriguing and complex mind of Mr Topsy-Turvy and shows him to be a character who single handedly says no against society's rigours. I’m grateful to Roger Hargreaves for brightening up my childhood with both his Mr Men and the Timbuctoo series of books.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. However, upon reaching the end of the book I suddenly discovered that this is not actually the case. Perhaps the real theme is the idea of rebellion and forced perspective, is Mr Topsy-Turvy really topsy and turvy or is it because we are regimented from birth to see the world in a certain way.

At first I thought that this book was a subtle (or not so subtle) dig at those of us who do things differently and trying to force us into a certain mould. He rents a room in a hotel, speaking to the hotel manager the wrong way around, "Afternoon good, I'd room a like.

I like this book because it was about a guy who always had stuff upside down, and he always reads back to front, and when he looks at pictures, he uses down instead of up.
